Wanting to Not Wanting

Wanting is such a wonderful thing

For it starts one on an adventure of sorts

But what use is all the wanting and excitement

If not-wanting never comes?

The end of all wanting must be just one

To not want any more

And that’s where all the adventure must stop

At that very final door.

It’s in being but not wanting any thing

That the gifts might start to pour

For that’s when the source to all is touched

Right inside the very core.
