A Spiritual Life... 

But why!

Those involved exclusively in the pursuit of material/physical life, goals and pleasures often fail to take cognizance of a deeper reality that exists in them and around them...until something in their material life life shocks them, punches them so hard, they are filled with the need to look deeper and that’s when they start exploring a deeper reality.

That deeper reality often goes by the name of spirituality.

Spirituality, in a sense, acknowledges and studies the reality of our energy beings. Knowing that energy is more ‘powerful’ than matter and mind more ‘powerful’ than energy, a spiritualist tries to use these to benefit himself and all concerned.

One who is on the spiritual path, may appear to move a little away from the shackles that religions may impose. Religion can mean many different things to different people but a follower of the spiritual path feels claustrophobic within a religious setup. So, he may break free or merely side-step religion, taking whatever suits his spiritual needs because religions, despite their many limitations, orthodoxy, ossified structure and worse do contain many useful gems.

Spirituality sets the seeker on the path of freedom... a freedom that can sometimes be terrifying and hard to bear because it shows the seeker a glimpse of truth, of his power and his responsibility...
