The Sacred Fire

The subtle power of the breath
Can ignite fires that have long turned cold
For when it’s directed along a certain path
The erstwhile meek again turn bold.
Men’s fires are destroyed with relative ease
For they burned their logs without that breath
And so their health too begins to flag
And they’re spent early, well before death.
With some effort and observation that’s keen
There’s much that can be reversed -
The sacral becomes sacred again,
It need not act like it’s been cursed.
