The Path...

All I wanted was to walk

To wherever the light was

And as I started out

A path began to open

I walked happily

Unaware of ditches

And walls and thorns...

Until I chanced upon them

Suddenly

And the light shined on them

So I could walk past

And I kept walking

Happily

And then one day I asked the light

When I would reach it

And the light answered

‘I am the path

And you’re on it

Keep walking

And you will see,

You are the light’
