The Most Real Estate

The world has seen so many wars

Over some pieces of land;

Societies too have had conflicts galore

Over estates and ownership and so on...

But all those who fought over land and dominion

Unknowingly ceded what they had in hand.

There is nothing more productive than the mind

And each human being has his share -

Its fertility is totally beyond compare

Yet few notice and fewer care.

All the energy that’s used fighting wars

And all that’s lost in gossip and tiffs

Is enough to have accomplished

Leveling off of steepest cliffs.

Instead of letting the mind fall prey

To desire, anger, greed and illusion

Let it develop the wings to fly far

And become the tool of transformation.
