Lost and Found

Little by little the world began to lose me

And little by little I began to find myself

At first as the world began to lose me

I felt very lost and pained as well

But the unfilled time that was left to me

Gave me a chance to start looking deeper

And the deeper I looked, the better I saw

For in the depths lay a corpse

It was me...

It was a part of me that had no use for me

And then I realized

There were fewer demands on me

And I became my own master

And I lived as I saw best, did as I chose.

And the world started giving up on me some more

But I started seeing the wealth I possessed

And I used my wealth to buy me joy

As I bought truckloads of joy

Peace became a constant companion.

The world lost me

And I found the most valuable thing - me.
