Life and Death - Truth and Lies

Life has little patience with deeper truths
And death has no patience with lies
Into the fire of life we must go
And meet our ends like moths and flies
Perhaps, death will reveal deep truths
But who’ll benefit from what it shares
For life has no patience with what you want
And death never really cares
Today we are here and we love and think
But tomorrow we’ll do none of this
Yet we are now so filled with ourselves
Yet tomorrow none of us will be missed
Neither our bodies nor our words will last
Long enough to achieve any thing
But the moments that we live on earth
Are best spent when we dance and sing
Turn to the mirror that you can find
And give yourself your biggest smile
For we don’t really have that much time
And are here for merely a tiny while
Shiva is the eternal everlasting truth
And Shakti his consort is lies
And in the game of love that they both play
All things come to be and everything dies.
