Lies, Truth and Awareness

Truth is produced in thought factories these days

Where a creative lie is first designed

And then the lie is printed somewhere

Which then becomes the source to be mined.

Once the lie is printed in some media,

It gets picked up by correspondents around

Who gladly quote each other and give it strength

And thus the lie begins to abound.

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and print,

Electronic, internet, yellow and black

All are fertile places to sow lies as truth

To begin a fresh new concerted attack.

But people have begun to awaken now

And smart ones are quick to spot the lies.

They fight the forces of darkness and evil

And shoot hard until the liar dies.
