Learn From Gods and Goddesses

My gods and goddesses all carry arms
For peace must come at a cost
But those who forget they must protect themselves
Are misguided at best, at worst lost
Do not fall prey to vultures overhead
For they’re neither leaders nor god
But they merely aim to weaken you
And disarm you from your punishing rod
Learn from gods and goddesses above
And not from fools who lead you to death
For death gives release to only those
Who’re willing to fight until the last breath
Fools who lay down their arms are culled
And even death won’t end their misery
Go find yourselves strong sturdy arms
Instead of filling up your treasury
Unarmed, even your treasury will fall to them
Who’ll use it destroy those you love
So be like the gods and goddesses now
Who inspire you here from far above
