Have You?

Have you noticed where you’re usually drawn -

To the dawn of truth or night of lies?

Have you observed yourself make a choice

Before the eye of inner sight dims or dies?

Have you wondered why you made your choice

And how it affected wherever you’ve gone

And have you made a mental note at least

When you felt shaken or perhaps, torn?

If you’ve done some of this before

You’ll likely make a better choice next time

And then when you look back at the path you’ve come

Something will glow, a light will shine.
