Does It Matter?

If I don’t matter that’s a good thing

For I really don’t matter at all

Yet all my life I tried to matter

But now that doesn’t matter

Where is the need to matter

When mattering gives false leads

And in releasing the need to matter

A freedom comes from senseless deeds

There’s a silent no-thing inside that matters

And the rest doesn’t matter at all

And each time you bring some awareness there

It’s enough - the rest will not matter.
