The way that things work all around
In the world of business and industry,
Changes are happening fast and disruption
Is no longer an indecipherable mystery.
Perhaps these changes are much deeper
Than we’re willing to acknowledge now -
Many who stood unshaken and tall
Are unable to fulfill their simplest vows.
New talents and methods are coming to the fore
And they’re affecting people in different ways -
Those that stood in darkness before
Are enjoying warm and sunny days.
Not all are prepared for these challenging times
But they need not lose heart and stop
For there are things that they can do
To take them all the way to the top.
When changes happen on the outside
It’s time to change things on the inside, too
For when one is ready and primed inside
They’ll know what they must then do.
