A Miracle and the Magician

If you could only see

The miracle that you are

You are the dream you fulfilled already

And the next one is not too far.

You can not see your miracle

Because you’ve grown way too fast

And the sense of wonder’s deserted you;

Been a long time since you wondered last.

Miracles are the stuff of life

And miracles are what each one creates

Yet few learn to love the magician inside

Or even to take him on intimate dates.

If you could only see

The magician that you are

That created a miracle that you know as you

Your next one really wouldn’t be far.
